As the title shows, this is a transformation "in progress". We are not completely done, but we have made a lot of progress, and I'd like to show you some of what we have done so far...
The Front Room
The paint made all the difference! Oh, and see that chair in the back corner that matches perfectly? That was left by the previous owner! Hey, they left something!
The Backyard
This picture of the backyard was taken long before we moved in. By the time we moved in the weeds were much taller, and mostly brown!
So
the present picture doesn't look all that great, but it really is better! Most of the weeds are gone now, and a few days ago Nate planted a variety of vegetables. What you see here is the first row of corn! Oh, and an orange tree off to the left, which was already there! (Another present from the previous owner:)The Kitchen
There are still a few finishing touches left to do like: add knobs to some of the cabinets, install the toe kicks, and install the tile back splash.
